Welcome to the third in a series of four blog posts. This series will outline what you can expect in every issue of Autism Advocate Parenting Magazine. We have organized the magazine into four categories to serve our parenting community:
- Current Research
- Expert Advice
- Parent Advocating
This post is all about “Resources for Autism Support.” As a parent of a child on the spectrum, I didn’t just want to read about information, I wanted actual resources that I could use in my day-to-day life. I also didn’t have the time to create them myself.
We’ve worked tirelessly with our graphic designers to provide attractive, clear, relevant and visual resources for you to print, cut and laminate. This was one of the key considerations that led to the creation of our magazine as a PDF.
We want each reader to easily access, print and use every resource we create as it fits with your journey. You don’t have to spend time searching the internet for resources, like we once did. You don’t have to try creating them yourself. All you have to do is hit the print button.
Again, we’re personally excited about these resources because we wish they had existed and were easily accessible when we were taking the first steps on our autism journey.
